I WOULDN'T HAVE KNOWN HIM LIKE I DO NOW

FOR THOSE OF YOU, WHOM YOUR PARENTS ARE PRAYER OR PRAISE & WORSHIP MACHINE AND YOU THINK YOU DON'T HAVE A PART TO PLAY......READ THIS.

See i was once in your shoe, you know sometimes I thank God that he allows my mum to pass on because if HE didn’t let her go, i wouldn't have struggled to know HIM like i do now and am still pushing on every day to know HIM more.

My mother was a prayer machine, an ADDICTED WOMAN in deed in the service of God; believe me when i say this. She will wake up in the morning praying for her family and when she would called us to join her, in the process we'll slept off, but she will continue her prayers. But I learned so much from her, even with my ignorance: faithfulness, sincerity, commitment, patience, perseverance and truthfulness.

We believed as at then that we are covered by her prayers; truly we were covered. But to some extent even till now am still covered by her prayers because prayers don't expire.

When i can't even pray for myself now, her prayers are still working for me. I remember after she had gone for a year something happened to me that i nearly lost my life, but i couldn't pray to that same God that my mother use to pray to, to come to my rescue at that point.

But i was busy accusing people at that point. But mercy found me and saved me. You know some of us are busy doing what is not necessary, instead of calling the phone which is actually 24:7 open for us to connect, we are busy complaining and blaming witches and wizards....Yes they may have a part to play but for your rising, seriousness and committed to things/services of God.

Sometime God allows some certain things come our way that we may take decision and fight back, but we chose to remain there saying "God knows and He will rescue me". The question is what part are you playing for this recuse? In other words, what decisions have you made?

Don't you know that if temptations, trials don't come, you won’t even dare to make a move, talk more of seeking Him. If a stormy day never comes, you won’t know HIM like you suppose to.

Your pastor may pray for you, even your parents, but the greatest Prophets, Pastors, Evangelist named them is YOU! If anyone should pray better or for things to work very quickly; it’s YOU, so the decision you make will tell.

I thank God my mother has to go that I may take matters into my hands and stand my ground.

THE FUNNY BUT SERIOUS CASE

Now some of you think the prayer covers you, well true but you still have a part to play. My mother didn’t even know what I was going through, spiritually, emotionally and others. The worst was that, me myself I didn’t even know what all the signs I was seeing were telling me and what it means, what I need to do.

I struggled a lot especially, emotionally: I couldn’t even tell her despite her closeness to me, the most smart and intelligent son of the house. This is exactly what is happening to us every day, even when God is paying attention to us, close like no other, we don’t even know and He is waiting to hear us saying the right words just to engage Him on a move. I know many people will say why is he saying that he is thanking God that his mother had to go? Well I believe for the intelligent, mature and spiritually minded people will understand what I am talking about.

I love my mum so much, just as a son will do. But I was not doing well as I suppose to, in everything. Who knows, if she didn’t go, what am struggling to get rid of now, I never would have tried to or even to pray to God for direction to show me the purpose for my existence. She would have done everything, still be the one doing the prayer and taking the responsibilities while am just there being a coward.

While I keep living not knowing what I was called to do. Not being able to take responsibility for my mistakes and others.

So it is our duty as men to seek God and ask for direction and the way out. Don’t leave everything for a woman to do for you. Take your responsibility; take care of your home, your life, family and other things around you. Your wife/partner’s work is just to support you, agree with you, and stand with you to make it happen. When you lack wisdom (James 1: 5) or not knowing the way out, consult the one who called the two of you for that union and if as a youth or a lady; you talk to Him to reveal what next.

I TELL YOU:

If I never had a stormy day
Then I wouldn't know that HE could take all my pains away
If my friends had never walked away, so far away
Then I wouldn't know that HE would always stay, never stray
From my side when I was going through, didn't have a clue
Of what I should do but then HE brought me through, HE always do
Thankful for those things that I went through (If I never had issues)
I wouldn't know HIM like I do

If I never had a hungry day, broke day
How would I know that HE could make a way, another way
If I never had a broken heart, torn apart
How would I know that HE could give me a brand new start
All the hurt and pain I felt inside, deep inside
HE let me know that I could still survive, HE is my guide
Thankful for those things that I went through
cause I wouldn't know HIM like I do
