Gisela came in through the door as we were building the Christmas tree.
"Can I get to decorate it?" Chris asked
"Sure you can, and also write your wishes" I replied
She ran out of the room to hers excitedly
"Why’s your eye red?" Cam asked Gisela
"I can't believe you guys got the tree without me and now you're building it without me" she burst out crying
"Remember you asked us to go on without you, so why are you crying?" I asked
"He loves someone else!!!" she cried even harder
I didn't know when I broke out laughing hard "are you serious??" I asked still laughing
"Yes, when I asked him to be my boyfriend he told me he has a girlfriend and he loves her so much"
my laugh died down, I still had the hope he loves me
"Next time, you don't go about asking boys to be your boyfriend" Camille said disapprovingly while she rubbed her back consolingly
"Let's go through your to- do list and see what we can do about it for Christmas" and just like that, her smile is back. She skipped happily to my room
"I know you still love him, why don't you go over and ask for explanation on whatever happened between you two" Cam said
Leave it to Cam to notice even the unnoticeable so I didn't bother asking how she knew. "it doesn't matter now, he loves someone else and has a girlfriend, I want to spend this Christmas boy stress free" I said softly
"This is it" Gisela came back holding a paper.
"Okay" I collected it from her and we huddled over it to take a look at her list

"Did you just add the last one?" Camille asked laughing
"Yes and I mean it"
"We'll see about that" We laughed together.
"Let's complete building the Christmas tree together" I said when our laugh died down
"Remain seven days to Christmas, so we'll do each a day"
"Okay" she replied and we got to work
"Chris!!! We’re through building, come and decorate it"
She came running down with a big box and several envelopes, James came down too with an envelope, same as mum and dad. I looked at them with my eyebrows raised
"We aren't too young to make a wish kiddo" Dad replied chuckling
"Same applies to me "James said
I winked at Camille and she turned away blushing.
After the decorations and pasting of wishes on the tree, everyone retired to the bedroom including Gisela leaving only Camille and I.
"Do you know why I was winking at you?" I asked after everyone left
"Because of your brother?" she tried
"No but you just confirm my suspicions, you like my brother"
"No I don't" she replied, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red " why were you winking at me then?"
"We have work to do and make wishes come true"
"Count me in" She replied happily "I going to bed"
"Okay go on without me, I want to stay outside for a while"
"Alright" she replied and went upstairs
I opened the front door as gently as possible and went to the backyard. I climbed the tree Lucas and I escape to when we want to be alone and looked in to his bedroom. The light was on and he wasn't in the room but I heard the shower running. Few minutes later he came out of the bathroom dripping wet without a towel.
"ohmahgawd!!!!" I gasped and quickly snapped my eyes shut using both hands to cover it tightly.
"He has disvirgined my eyes" I lamented inside
