We got home pretty fast and I invited Lucas and Arden over to spend the Christmas with us.
I was about knocking but changed my mind and pressed my ear on the door to listen for sounds.
"Seems everyone is still asleep" I mouthed to others, then I gently insert my key in the key hole and turned the knob as silently as possible, thankfully the door didn't make any sound.
"Thank heavens I'll see the looks on their faces when get they get Santa Claus gift" I thought
We moved quietly to the Christmas tree and I was amazed at the number of gifts lying under it
"My family couldn't possibly bring this much gifts" I voiced out my thought and turned to Camille just in time to catch her winking at me with a small smile. I smiled my thanks to her
"Time to wake everyone, yes?" James asked
"No, you and Gisela should change your clothes first" Camille answered
"Yes both of you should" I agreed cutting off their protest
"Ugh.... I dunno when you became the eldest sis" James snapped but went anyway while Gisela rolled her eyes and ran upstairs in anticipation
"Ohmygoodness"! Gisela screamed and came running back holding a stocking "Santa Claus really came over and dropped a gift for me, I can't freaking believe this"
I grinned so hard my face hurts as she opened the stockings and her face lit up like a thousand sparks. "He gave me the iPhone I've been wishing for, thanks goodness my family ditched me and you accepted me" she came over and hugged me
"Santa Claus really came over??!!" James asked with bewilderment
"What's in your stocking?" Camille asked anxiously
" Mine wasn't in a stocking, more like a sack and it contains a video game" James said excitedly "Who knew Santa Claus would grant my wish, what about you guys?" he asked looking at us skeptically
"I got my wish" Camille and I said at the same time
"And what's it" Gisela asked
"Love" I replied
"Me too, I found you and I found love" Camille said
"aaaaawwwwnnnnn" Gisela cooed making James blush more, his face turning crimson red
"Let's wake others" I announced breaking the already awkward atmosphere
"Okay" James said and made to go
"Wait! We’ll wake them with the Christmas bells" I stopped him and took one of the Christmas bells and jingled it loudly
The house finally came to life, within minutes everyone started trooped out of their rooms to the living room, some with smiles and others half-awake but nothing could compare to the look on Chris's and my parents face. Chris most especially
"Ari Santa Claus came over and gave me and iPod, see" she smiled brightly showing me the iPod
"That’s wonderful!" I pulled her into a hug
"I got a gift too, cowboy boots and hats that your mum wouldn't allow me buy" he said with a goofy grin
"And I got a ticket to Paris" Mum squealed
"Did mummy just squeal" James whispered
"You can answer that yourself" I replied, my face already hurts from smiling and I couldn't stop smiling no matter what I do
"You take me along right?" Dad asked mum
"Nope only if you're on your best behavior"
"I'll do anything you ask mademoiselle" Dad replied and bowed
"Why didn't we get a gift from Santa's Claus!!" some of my cousins whined
"Let's check under the Christmas tree for gifts" Camille said suggestively and soon, everyone was laughing as they opened their gifts
"I didn't know I would get a gift from you" Lucas breathed out on my neck causing my skin to tingle
"what's your plan for today?" I asked turning to look at him
"Anything that involves you" he replied and kissed me quickly
"Our ride will be here in thirty minutes, everyone go and freshen up" Dad announced” Lucas and Arden, you're also invited"
I smiled my thanks to Dad and hurried up the stairs to freshen up.
Minutes later, I sat on the beach sipping a lemonade drink with Lucas by my side and watched the kids building a sand castle, some played in the water.
Gisela is not left out; she's also building a sand castle with some of the kids while Arden ran around with some.
Cam and James swam side by side in the water, whispering words to each other.
"This is a perfect way to spend Christmas and this is the best Christmas ever. There's no place better than being with your family and friends" I said softly closing my eyes.
"True and I'm glad you came home" James replied and dropped trails of soft kisses on my face and neck
"Arianna, Camille, Gisela!!! Come over here, I have a confession to make"
Camille came over to me and dragged me, forcing me to stand up "what does your dad confession have to do with us?
"I dunno" I answered truthfully "Thanks by the way for the last minute gifts, I didn't think of it, I dunno what I'll do without you"
"That's why we are more than best friends, we are......."
"Yeah, we are more than best friends, now we are sisters in law" I interrupted earning a spank from her
"I haven't married James" she replied blushing harder "and I'm a master planner" she whispered when she saw Gisela coming towards us
"What's all this about??"Gisella whined "I'm almost through building my Castle"
Cam and I rolled our eyes " Dad what's it?" I asked
"Sit" he ordered
"Don't argue, just sit" he added
"Cam and Gisela spending the Christmas with us is not a co-incidence, I asked your parents to let you spend the Christmas with us" he said turning to them "as that was the only way Ari would come home and for your information, I'm best friends with your parents so I beg you to forgive so parents because I kinda threatened them a little" He stood up and entered the pool
"What!!!!!" we screamed together in shock
"I can't believe this" Gisela muttered shaking her head
"Now we are more than sisters, we are family" Cam grinned throwing her hands over my shoulder "by the way, your father, no I mean dad is more of a master planner than me. I see where I get the wits from"
"LAST PERSON TO ENTER THE WATER WILL CLEAN THE ENTIRE BEACH" Gisela announced suddenly and time stop for five seconds before everyone left what they were doing and head for the pool.
"This is the most memorable Christmas I've ever had" Gisela said laughing into nothing in the pool
"Yeah" Cam and I agree with her
