"Grrrrrrgh............" the phone ringing by the bedside woke me up from my beauty sleep
📞 "Hello"
📞. "Get down in 30 minutes, we're going to the office" a voice said through the phone
📞" Who are you??"
📞"Evans" the voice answered snorting
📞" Oh...... how did you get my number?"
📞"Does it matter? Now you have 25 minutes left" he replied and hung up
I went back to sleep almost immediately just to rest for three minutes, then my phone rang again when I've barely closed my eyes
📞"I get it, I get it I'll be down in ten minutes so we can go to your local office boss"
📞"Sharron??" the voice asked
📞"Oh Steve good morning" I replied quickly
📞 "Where are you going?"
📞 "My boss said we going to his office to pack some of the children toys back home"
📞"Really?"
📞" Yes, how you doing?"
📞"I'm not fine without you"
📞"I'm coming home by weekend dear, I'll make up for the time I lost"
📞"Okay that's good to hear, talk to you later I have some things attend to"
📞 "Bye"
I went to the bathroom after the call and took a long bath, towelled myself and came out.
"What cloth do I wear? Today is first day at work" I muttered to myself
"Wait first day at work?" I asked myself again exclaiming. "Ohmygawd" I ran to my bed to check the time on the clock sitting on a table beside the bed
"My goodness, I've spent close to an hour bathing, how do I get to his office? What if he has left me?
I went to my closet and picked the first set of clothes my hands touched, brushed my hair quickly, put on a black sandal and rushed downstairs only to confirm my worst fears
"He has left me"
I slumped on the chair tiredly and saw a folded note sitting on the table.
💬 "I couldn't wait for you, had an emergency in the office but I'll be back early so think of the first step to win Amy's heart back. We’re executing the plan today, this evening to be precise"

"Jeez, I forgot I'm to help him to get Amy back well I'll think of something besides he won't need her since he's going to jail soon.
I went upstairs, back to my room and brought out my laptop to listen to the second audio

"What's the package about??"I asked myself but couldn't concentrate on anything so I decided to search Evans home office.
"You have to decode Jess's coded letter" my mind told me but I ignored

"When have I become a coward? Why can't I bring her to the office?"
"Don't tell me you don't know why" my Best friend Chris answered. I had told him all that happened for the past three days
"I seriously don't know" I replied cringing inside at the possibility of what he might say.
"You're scared she'll run away from you if she knows you're a celebrity just like everyone dear to you lives after they've used you and Amy just did that"
"No Amy would never do that, she loves me. It’s Sharron that came between us and she's gonna bring us back"
"But still Amy is using you, just that she's good at acting you'll never know"
"I trust Amy" I replied, my voice seething with anger
"Okay, Okay fine. I surrender but something baffles me"
"What’s that" I asked eyeing him
"This Sharron, doesn't she surf the internet enough to recognize you?"
"Good question, I've asked myself that too and I don't think she's faking not knowing me"
"Me neither" Chris said.
I narrowed my eyes at him in suspicion "why would you say that? Have you met her".
"No I haven't, I just thought about all you've said and my guts also told me she isn't faking it"
"Fine" I replied and made to talk about the company deals when my phone rang
"What!!" I screamed in surprise
"I need to go home now" I said to Chris and picked up my car keys leaving files unattended to

📞"Hello Leonard, I've gone through the voice recordings though not all, and I think I've found evidence against Evans"
📞" Yeah I received your message via email, by this night we'll make our arrest"
📞" Fine thank you, Jessica death must be avenged"
📞"Yeah but how come you came across the cocaine deals and receipts
📞"Found 'em in his home office and besides, he called Jessica last now he deals with drugs. Maybe she found out about it and threatened him. it all makes sense now. I can't believe I've been living with a murderer"
📞"Thanks for the info ma'am, we have all we need. We’ll make a move this evening"
📞"Thanks so much" I replied and hung up smiling but I wasn't really happy with what I've done. My spirit seems down.
I got out of his office and went to the living room, switching on the TV before sitting.
I woke up few minutes later due to the rough hands shaking my shoulders vigorously.
"What is it" I grumbled sleepily
"Wake up, I found out something" Evans said
"What did you find out?"
"Oh never mind" he replied after reading a text message that came in on his phone
"His voice seem down, maybe he's sad but I don't care" I thought as I went back to sleep only to be woken roughly again
"What is it this time?" I asked in annoyance
"Go and change your clothes we're visiting Amy in the beach house"
"Okay" I replied and went to Change my dress, anticipating when the police would come. I can't wait to see the look on his face
We got to the beach house after a long drive with him glancing at me at regular intervals
He opened the door with his spare key with bouquet of flowers on his hands and instrumentalists waiting for his signal before the start playing.
"Amy" he called out, moving to the bedroom.
He opened the door and I saw the flowers fall from his hands and his body shaking vigorously. I rushed to his side and opened my mouth in shock
Amy was sitting naked in the room smirking at Evans with a man looking at Evans in fear
"You've been sleeping with my Manager behind my back" he asked, his voice shaking as if he couldn't believe what he's seeing.
"His Manager" my mind screamed
"You too" he turned to me "you lied to me, when are you planning to tell me Jessica his dead" he said, tearing up and walked briskly out of the room
"Evans please wait" I shouted running after him.
I got out and found the Police surround him and just in time hear
"Mr. Evans, you're found guilty for the death of Ms. Jessica"
I looked at him and my heart bled for him as he was rough handled into the police vehicle.
I went back to his car and sat down, putting my head on the steering wheel.
I had no strength in me to drive.
