I nod and admire him the more, want else do I not know about this demi god in front of me
"I think we should decode Jess letter first, get me a pen and book on my study table" he said
I stood up and got him what he asked for. I sat back and watch him decipher the words
Few minutes later and he didn't even break a sweat, he deciphered the coded letter

I was dumbfounded a second this morning after he read out the letter

"What's the next step now?" She asked
"I'll need you to go to through her list of friends and think if someone who has the Initials E.S"
"Yes master" she replied with a salute and marched off to maybe her bedroom
I looked at her letter again, something is definitely fishing, her corpse is missing, she wants Sharron to investigate for her and then send it her Email. does she want to read her mail from heaven?!!. "I'll get to the bottom of this" I promised myself
IN THE EVENING
"I've come up with a list" Sharron said with a smile, happily skipping into my room without knocking. What if I was clad? I glared daggers at her and she retracted her steps back to the door and knocked
"You can come in" I singsong
"I've come up with a list master, a few from work, a few she hung out with and my husband have the initials but I've cancelled Steve's name, he can't hurt a mosquito" she said
"No" I growled, I dunno why her husband's name affected me "you can't remove anyone's name, trust no one"
"But...."
"No buts.... that's final" I said in a calm voice
"Okay" she replied defeatedly " can I wear my sniper's cloth" her face lit up
"No"
"Then how do we investigate!??"
"I have a detective for that"
"Ohhh"
"But you will go to your husband's house since he's closer to us; you keep him busy in the bedroom while I search your entire house"
"You won't search the bedroom?"
"Yes I won't because he won't keep anything illegal there"
"But I insist, he's clean"
"I know, this is just to clear his name" I said
"Okay, I'll do it then"
"One more thing, I want you to act like you know a secret he thinks he's hiding, his expression will give him up"
She nodded thinking it over
"We're leaving in 20 minutes, the earlier the better"
She skipped out happily again without closing my door!!
AT STEVE'S RESIDENCE
Sharron showed Evans the back door and doubled back to the front after they went through their plans over again
"Honey, I'm home!" she called but received no response.
She went to their room and met him on a call. He ended the call instantly and rushed over to hug her
"OMG!! I've missed you sweetie" he said
"Me too Hun, however I'm not staying long, just came over to say Hi and inhale your cologne"
"Don't make me blush" he whispered seductively in her ear
"Steve?" she called, he looked up at her inquisitively
"You know" she started, her fingers moving in circle on his bare chest "I'm so gentle and all innocent but it's nothing compared to you, I go out in the night, yes and you may try but you'll never guess what I'm up to. You think you're the only one allowed to have secrets??" she asked smirking
"please be confused" she prayed in her heart, "I can't bear you keep secrets from me"
Different emotions crossed his face before finally settled on Confusion.
"What's that supposed to mean?" he asked with his heart in his throat, "had Sharron found out my company is just a facade for the business I truly do?!" he thought
She leaned in closer, "I know all your secrets!"
"What secrets? I'll never keep anything from you" he said, his expression hurt
She finally received the signal she has been waiting for. Her phone vibrated in her hand purse. "April fool!!!!" she shouted. " I got you scared, can't believe you forgot today's April first" she laughed
"I was damn scared"
"Why should you be? Except you are keeping one" she taunted
"No, no I'm not" he replied too quickly "just afraid you might leave me for some fake rumors"
"I won't do that, I need to go now" she waved and left the room without a second glance.
He looked at her retreating figure and placed a call
BACK AT EVANS HOUSE
"I'm going up to my room to freshen up" Sharron announced and went up to her room
Minutes later, a long shrilling scream jolted Evans from his dozing body.
