THE EMPIRE LAND - CHAPTER TWO

CHAPTER TWO

When the overall royal emperor heard about how he has been calling himself an emperor, his kingdom becoming an empire instead of a kingdom subject to one emperor, he was very furious because of his behaviour. His rivals from other neighbouring cities and kingdoms wrote to the emperor to attack him and bring him to order, but the emperor knowing their thoughts and being so kind disapproved their request and intentions.

Since the emperor was yet a kind man, despite the king’s bad manners and greediness to overtaking the emperor; he sent him a sealed letter ordering him to stop his foolishness, but the king wouldn’t listen.

Days later, the assumed emperor wrote back to the royal emperor insulting the emperor that he is weak and useless and that the royal empire needs a strong emperor, a man of action who is skillful and capable of winning his wars thereby creating fear in the minds of any enemies that may wish to attack. Despite all the insults, the emperor ignored and swallowed these things up.

The emperor later sent messengers to his kingdom to deliver to him a message but the king ordered his guards who were on duty to beat them up and threw them into the dungeon. After three days the king decided to send the messengers back to the emperor.

The king made himself and emperor thus endangering the lives of the people. The emperor was a powerful and well respectable man. He is kind, not quick in engaging into wars. He always allow his rivals to enjoy themselves but if he is fury that will be the end of such a man or kingdom.

The emperor was enraged by his act but he controlled his temper and allow peace to reign between them. The king wanted a war with the emperor, so he made an attempts to attack the emperor’s kingdom, but each time be tried, the emperor’s guards will defend the borders capturing his soldiers giving them a serious beating of their lives and send them back to their kingdom.

But the king himself didn’t give up; he kept on trying but kept on failing and failing. The emperor’s guards at the border sent words to the emperor reporting about the subsequent attacks by the king.
