1 Sam.17:1-58 (NIV)
In life there are battles to fight and to fight is a choice you must make. Your choice and focus will determine your destination if to be victorious or be slaughtered and defeated. Now I want you to know that life is not a playground but a battle field, a warfare. So it’s either you fight, kill or be defeated. In other words, if you refuse to fight you will only fall on the sword of your adversary that has been tormenting your life and destiny all these while. God forbid. Will you now love to fall on the sword of your enemy like a coward or to fight with all tenacity to destroy him so that you may have your victory?
Who is this enemy in case you may be asking in your mind? Satan the devil is always the enemy of man. He is not always happy about us. According to the book John 10:10; he is always looking for whom he will steal from, kill and eventually destroy him. That is his mission. He is not someone we should laugh with, joke about because we can’t see him. He is a spirit. Remember we are not wrestling against flesh and blood but principalities and powers….Ephesians 6:12. How can you now be in the battle field but be afraid to kill?
Now let me tell you a story, “my pastor friend narrated a story of how a certain sister was going through hard times and how things were not just working out for her. So she met her pastor for counseling and divine intervention. God open the eyes of his servant. He asked her to fast and pray for 3 days which she did. On the third day of her fasting and prayer God opened her eyes to see the source of her predicaments.
God showed her a cat; He told her to kill the cat that once she kills the cat, her victory has come. Immediately she rose up her hand with that which was in her hand to kill the cat, the cat became a human being. Surprise right? Her sister, the one she loves so much pleading with her not to kill her. So she couldn’t do it. She showed mercy and woke up from that revelation without killing that cat. Two days later after the fasting and prayer has been concluded she was afflicted.
And this affliction was what led to her death, after praying and fasting. God forbid. This is the state at which most of us are today. We so much pay close attention to our families, parents, siblings and love ones and we can go even extra miles for them instead of being closer to God. And we don’t even know who they are in the spiritual realm. She not killing the cat was her choice and her choice finally determines the next chapter of her life.
In a battle field it is either you kill or be killed. Now answer me, where do you think she is going to heaven or hell. Of course she is going to hell straight away; know why, because she disobeyed God’s direct instruction but she chose to listen to the devil.
You know, this is always the problem of man right from the very beginning of time. Choosing to obey the voice of creation that the voice of the creator. If you refuse to kill in battle but allow the enemy to kill you, you are a coward. That’s what you are. A prey in front of a tiger, what do you expect? How can God open your eyes to see you enemy and you do nothing about it and you allow her to go?
Now if you are a foreigner reading this article, you may be wondering what we are talking about. You know what? You may not understand. In African countries, what you exhibit has fun over there in your country probably to make money is a totally opposite in our continents. Wickedness is real in Africa. You know sometimes when I watch a white man praying and worshipping, I’ll just smile. I’ll be saying in my mind, I wish you come to Africa and have a little encounter.
So I advise you follow our churches in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa etc. Example of churches you should watch their deliverance services are: The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Christ Embassy, Dunamis, Living Faith Church Worldwide International a.k.a Winner Chapel and likes of them. Until you watch these ministries their services especially healing services, listen to testimonies of the oppressed being set free from the bondage of the devil, you can’t understand what I am talking about.
