God will not give you a man or woman who is visionless or else there will be wastage.
I have heard my youths asking me when should a young man or woman propose or accept a marriage offer. My simple answer is when he/she is matured. Maturity to me is not when you are in the University or having a good income or holding any leadership position. The most vital trait of a matured man or woman is that he/she is a possessor of a detailed vision for the future. I mean in possession of personal or corporate vision.
Most couples run with their parents or friends template for their homes, very few have originality.
I will be sharing three powerful ways to develop a vision as a young man or woman.
(a) Through God.
Vision can be spiritual; it can be received as a divine mandate.
Habakkuk 2: 1-2. I will stand upon my watch, and see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
One of the greatest desires of every young man and woman is to wait on God through prayers to hear from God about the future. God still speaks to those who sincerely want to know His will for their lives.
(b). Passion.
Passion is a revolutionize desire that craves for performance in the face of any obstacle. This may be a signal to what you will do in the future. Some of our passion can be birthed through either past or present, pleasant and unpleasant experience. Those passions must be peaceful, progressive and profitable to move you and the people around you forward. Those passions must move your life from obscurity to limelight. Staying and fuelling those passion can turn your weakness to strength and make you exceptional being to your world.
(c). Your Giftings.
Many youths are struggling to know God's vision for their lives, you can access it through your giftings. In the Parable of the Talents told by our Lord Jesus Christ, it showed that our talents or giftings are all spiritual resources to fully maximize our lives and be relevant to ourselves, spouse and our world at large. Pay close attention to your talents, it could be a clue to how your future will look like. Pay every price never to be an imitator but an original to your world.
Knowing these great secrets will make you a contributor and not a collector in this confused world. It will be my great joy if you master this before claiming total stranger to your life.
